Terms of Purchase
Trip Planning Procedure
Following a client's request by email or by phone, France Wedding Planner will send a quote for trip planning that includes a detailed backgrounder on the destination and sites, an itinerary of visits and events, and restaurant bookings and transfers. Once the fee is agreed upon and paid by major credit card, we will send a detailed illustrated itinerary.
Research and Planning Fee
There is a minimum 500€ Research and Planning Fee applicable to customized wedding packages and all programs requiring venue research and organization.
Contractual Agreement with the Purchaser
Once the client has accepted the itinerary and itemized costs for the travel program, the client must return by fax or scanned document, a fully complete debit authorization form that includes billing address, telephone number, full credit card details and client signature.
The payment is processed through a secure server system only accessible to the owner/president of France Wedding Planner/Events & Company. Once payment has been accepted, the purchaser is immediately notified.
France Wedding Planner Deposit Policy
All programs require a 50% minimum deposit and must be paid in full prior to the party's arrival.
All programs booked 6 months to 1 year in advance require minimum 50% minimum deposit and must be paid in full one month prior to the parties arrival.
All programs booked in this calendar year (2011) must be paid in full prior to the party's arrival.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel a program, you must inform France Wedding Planner/Events&Company by fax as well as by email, a procedure that will determine your refund.
If your trip is cancelled between 60 and 30 days before the date of arrival, your refund is 50% of the total bill; Between 21 and 29 days, your refund will be 30% of the total bill; 20 days or less, there is no refund.
There are no refunds on planning fees.
France Wedding Planner strongly advises the purchaser to take out trip insurance; the one that we recommend most is Travelex.
Trip Modifications Policy
If you request additional services and tours during your trip, your credit card will be charged with your prior consent. If you decide to cancel or abbreviate a tour during your trip, there will be no refunds.
In case of an unforeseen event, including security, climate and labor strikes, France Wedding Planner reserves the right to modify or cancel the services before or during your trip.
France Wedding Planner absolves itself of all liability in such situations and no indemnity will be applied.
Claims
All claims must be made by fax within one week after the services have taken place. After this period no claim will be accepted.
Jurisdiction
All litigation issues will be addressed in a French court in Paris where France Wedding Planner/Events & Company is based.
